It is an accepted fact that people who smoke or use tobacco products are at a much higher risk of developing throat cancer. Frequent drinking also increases this risk. When the two are combined, the results are even more lethal. However, did you know that frequent heartburn also increases the risk of cancer of the throat and vocal chords?
